The Parañaque City government signed on Friday, April 21, a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the PLDT telecommunication company for internet access and connections in the city's public hospitals.
Mayor Eric Olivarez signed the MOA with 1st District Rep. Edwin Olivarez,Ospital ng Parañaque I (OsPar-1) Director Dr. Jefferson Pagsisihan, and PLDT Enterprise Business Head of Local Government Unit (LGU) Relations Vincent Rodriguez.

The MOA was signed after the inauguration of the dialysis unit at OsPar-1 on the same day.
The MOA would enable the local government to set up internet connections at the dialysis unit of OsPar-1 that can be accessed freely by patients, Olivarez said.
The mayor added that a similar MOA was signed last Feb. 10 by the city government with the PLDT and OsPar2 Director Dr. Patrick Cruz for the internet access in their hospital.
PLDT also gave six wireless telephones and a smart booster to OsPar-2.
