Nearly P800,000 worth of shabu seized, six pushers nabbed in two-day operation in Pampanga
CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police seized almost P800,000 worth of illegal drugs during separate anti-drug operations in Floridablanca, Pampanga on Thursday (April 20) and in Angeles City on Friday (April 21).
Buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the Floridablanca police in Barangay Bodega, Floridablanca resulted in the arrest of three suspects listed in the drug watch list. They were identified as Joel Sanque, alias “Joel,” Aida Mira, alias “Bidang,” and Randy Escotillon, alias “Randy.”
Confiscated from the trio were the marked money, caliber .45 pistol STI Grandmaster, caliber .45 magazine loaded with six ammunition, a weighing scale, Camelbak sling bag, cellphone, and three plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 53 grams with an estimated value of P363,000.
Meanwhile in Angeles City, Jessica Nucum who was listed in the drug watchlist together with her cohort Jhonnel Montalbo was arrested during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Pulung Maragul.
Seized from the two were three plastic sachets containing approximately 52 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P354,000.
A separate buy-bust operation in Barangay Santa Trinidad, Angeles City resulted in the arrest of a Sputnik Gang member identified as Elton Menor who was listed in the drug watchlist.
Confiscated from him were caliber .38 revolver, three ammunition, marked money, and three heat-sealed sachets containing 10 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P68,000.
Police said that they will continue their relentless pursuit in combatting illegal drug activities.
The effort is in support of the Department of Interior and Local Government’s Buhay Ingatan, Droga’y Ayawan Program which gears towards diminishing drug consumption within communities.
