Karla Estrada on her love life: 'Nakakahiya... feeling ko kasi ang tanda ko na'

It's no secret that actress-TV host Karla Estrada is in a relationship with Jam Ignacio. She prefers to keep their romance low-key. In an interview, Karla was asked why. She said, "Nakakahiya na yun yung pinag-uusapan natin. Feeling ko kasi ang tanda ko na."
Then she went on to explain: "I mean, sorry ha? Alam niyo naman ako, di talaga kumportableng pag-usapan ang aking buhay pag-ibig. Itago na lang muna natin siya sa likod ng mga kamera." Asked if they're already married, Karla cleared: "Hindi pa." As for their wedding plans, Karla quipped: "Wala pa sa mga plans yun. Siguro pag mga 64 (years old na ako)." She was teased about the possibility of her eldest son Daniel Padilla tying the knot ahead of her. Note that Daniel and longtime girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo are set to mark their 11th anniversary as a couple next month. Karla reacted: "Okay lang. Mas importante ang love life nila kaysa sa akin."
When asked if she is ready to be a grandmother, she said, "I'm so ready anytime na maging lola." As to how many grandkids, she said, "Ay naku, sanay kami sa maraming pamilya. Kaya hangga't ilan ang kaya, perfect! Mas madami, mas masaya." Karla reiterated that she would personally take care of her apos. If ever, she wants them to call her "Mama Lola." "Kasi yan ang tawag ko sa Mama Lola and Papa Lolo ko." Asked if she senses somehow that Daniel and Kathryn will be settling down anytime soon, she said, "Oo naman. Kasi mga anak ko naman, di naman ma-itatago pag ikaw yung nanay." Though she reiterated, "Siyempre, at the end of the day, sila yung mag-de-desisyon nun. Kung ano yung gusto nilang mangyari sa mga buhay nila."
