QCPD seizes P250,000 worth of shabu in Novaliches buy- bust ops


Police seized P258,400 worth of alleged shabu in separate buy-bust operations in Novaliches, Quezon City on Friday, April 21.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Novaliches Police Station (PS 4) said it coordinated with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) to arrest four suspects in two entrapment operations.

QCPD-PS 4 Station commander Lt. Col. Jerry Castillo identified the suspects in its first operation as Alden Anchete, 28, resident of Barangay San Bartolome, Novaliches; and Paolo Pangilinan, 40, resident of Barangay Bago Bantay, Quezon City.

The suspects were collared at Block 9, Lot 2 Nomar II, Barangay San Bartolome, Novaliches, Quezon City at 12 a.m.

Based on the report, police confiscated 22 grams of suspected shabu worth P156,400, along with a coin purse, cellular phone, and the buy-bust money.

In another operation, operatives from QCPD and PDEA-QC arrested Joselito Trinidad, 53, resident of Barangay Nova Proper, Novaliches; and Racky Francis Danielle Villanueva, 28, of Barangay Gulod, Novaliches.

The two suspects were arrested at 3:00 a.m. on Camia Street in Ramirez Subdivision,  Barangay Nova Proper, Novaliches, Quezon City.

Recovered from the suspects were 15 grams of suspected shabu valued at P102,000, a black headset, a cellular phone, and the buy-bust money.

Arrested suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the "Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002."
