The Philippine National Police- Human Rights Affairs Office (PNP- HRAO) successfully conducted a two-day human rights seminar in Barangay San Nicolas, Bulakan, province of Bulacan on April 19-20.
"Human Rights Deepening Seminar" is a two-day seminar held at the Functional Hall of Coolwaves Ranch and Resort, that sought to spread awareness on human rights. The second day of the seminar was held in partnership with the Bulacan Provincial Police Office (PPO) headed by Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director.
Brig. Gen. Vincent S. Calanoga, Chief of the PNP HRAO was the event's guest of honor and speaker while lawyer Hannah Jezel I. Rosario was the guest lecturer.
Bulacan Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro delivered a stakeholder's message highlighting the significance of upholding human rights principles in law enforcement and community relations.
Guest lecturers during the first day of the seminar were Lt. Col. Wilfredo L. Velayo Jr. and Lt. Col. Edgar P. Pablico who discussed awareness and knowledge of human rights issues and the importance of protecting and promoting them.
