Male bettor shot, wounded in Zamboanga lottery outlet

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A male bettor at a lotto outlet here was shot and wounded by two unidentified assailants on Thursday, April 20. Police Major Shellamie Chang, Police Regional Office-9 information officer, identified the victim as Samuel Isidro Apolinario, 51. Apolinario was reportedly placing a bet at a lottery outlet in Zone 4, Cabaluay when one of two men on board a motorcycle shot him thrice. Apolinario was brought to a government hospital. The suspects escaped toward Barangay Culianan. Police are conducting pursuit operations for the arrest of the suspects.
