At a glance

A day after claiming that two high-ranking government officials want him dead, Negros Oriental 3rd district Rep. Arnolfo "Arnie" Teves Jr. posted a short video on Facebook Friday afternoon, April 21 to claim that his house had been raided.
"Kanina magvi-video dapat ako dahil may nagsabi nanaman na ire-raid nanaman yung properties namin. Ngayon lang, ni-raid na kaagad yung manukan sa bahay ko (I was supposed to post a video earlier because I was tipped off that our properties would get raided again. Just now, the chicken farm at my house was raided)," Teves said in the 77-second video message.
Sana lang wala (I hope they didn't plant any evidence, but they probably did to make me look bad. But I hope not)," he said.
Teves is tagged as the mastermind of the March 4 assassination of Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo. He in currently abroad and has refused to come home for fear of his life.
(To those that planted at the house, go all-out with it. Plant as much as you can. Then when it grows and prospers, make as showcase out of it so that you can boost the whole country’s production, right?)"
Lubus-lubosin niyo yang pagtatanim (Be the ones to teach our farmers, you're good at planting right? Go all-out with your planting)," he added.
In an ANC Headstart interview Thursday morning, April 19, the suspended congressman said two high-ranking government officials are plotting to kill him the moment he returns to the country. He has maintained that he has nothing to do with the ambush on Degamo.
These actions, these are really harassment and abuse of power. The authorities must really call attention to this. This is not right, this is not good, and this is not a good sign for all)."
He didn't mention in the video who conducted the raid.
Teves claimed that during a previous raid at his house, his cockfighting roosters were slaughtered.
