Las Piñas, Parañaque mayors invite residents to support Flavors of NCR
Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar and Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez are inviting their residents to support the annual "Flavors of NCR (National Capital Region)" food festival organized by the Association of Tourism Officers (ATO) on April 27 to 28 at the Kartilya ng Katipunan in Manila.
Aguilar said being part of the food festival will help promote local tourism and the best foods that can be found in the city.

City Tourism and Cultural Office Chief Paul San Miguel said "Bea’s home of quality kakanin and other native delicacies" and "Kainan ni Basty-Jacob" were chosen as the city's representatives for the festival. They will have the opportunity to showcase their products to both local and foreign tourists and visitors.
The food festival aims to promote food tourism and encourage people to become food entrepreneurs for the economy to grow.
Olivarez, who posted a video inviting his constituents to support the Flavors of NCR, said the city will showcase its famous suman latik, pinipig, pan de itlog and Maty’s tapa at the festival.
The activity was made possible by Department of Tourism-Metro Manila, headed by Sharlene Batin and the ATO-NCR in coordination with the Department of Tourism-Philippines.
