The funeral for the late K-pop idol Moonbin will be held in private and his agency is asking for understanding.
Moonbin, 25, a member of K-pop boy band ASTRO, was found dead by his manager at his home in Gangnam, Seoul on April 19 in an apparent case of suicide. The police believed that Moonbin took his own life. There was no evidence of foul play in his death.

“On April 22, Moonbin’s funeral will be strictly observed. As previously announced, the funeral ceremony and burial site will not be disclosed according to the request of the bereaved family,” the agency said.
Fantagio added, “We once again ask for the generous understanding of the reporters so that ASTRO members and the bereaved family can send the deceased on his journey. We express our gratitude to everyone who sent their deep condolences.”

Together with fellow ASTRO member Sanha, Moonbin held the “Diffusion” fan concert in Manila on March 25.
