Gang member yields P782,000 shabu in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested an alleged member of a criminal group and seized 115 grams of suspected shabu worth P782,000 in a buy-bust operation in Purok Oraro, Barangay 4 here on Thursday, April 20.

Police Lt. Col. Sherlock Gabana, spokesperson of the Bacolod City police, said the suspect’s group is also allegedly involved in other illegal activities. Lucasan had a previous case for illegal possession of dangerous drugs, but he was released from jail after he posted bail, according to Gabana. Gabana said that the trial on Lucasan’s drug case is ongoing. He is detained at Police Station 2. This is the biggest drug haul reported under the stint of Police Col. Noel Aliño upon his assumption as acting director of Bacolod City police on April 18.
