'Partida': Teves says he campaigned only once in 2022 polls, and won

Negros Oriental 3rd district Rep. Arnolfo "Arnie" Teves Jr. has bragged about winning in the May 2022 elections despite campaigning only once. “Iisipin mo nanalo ako nung eleksyon kahit hindi ako nagkampanya. Sa totoo lang nung eleksyon isang beses lang ako, nagkampanya pala ako once (Just imagine, I won in the election even if I didn't campaign. In truth I just campaigned once during the elecrion)," Teves, told ABS-CBN's TeleRadyo on Wednesday, April 19. "The whole election time I campaigned only once. Nanalo ako nang konti lang dahil grabe yung kampanya nila (I just won by a small margin because of their campaign against me),” added the controversial solon, who is out of the country. In the same TeleRadyo interview, Teves mentioned that he has many followers of social media. His official Facebook page, the Visayas congressman has 582,000 followers. Teves also used to have a radio program. He is currently out of the country and refuses to come home for fear of his life. Teves is being tagged as the mastermind behind the broad-daylight assassination of Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo last March 4. Teves, in an ANC Headstart interview on Thursday morning, April 20, also mentioned that he won in last year's polls despite campaigning just once.
