The office of Paranaque City's 1st District Rep. Edwin Olivarez conducted a medical mission on Wednesday, April 19, at Don Galo Elementary School.
Olivarez said the medical mission, organized by his congressional office staff headed by Eva Nono, Mar Jimenez, and Bernie Amurao, was called “Pedia Day: Eh Kasi Bata!”
He said a total of 218 children participated in the medical mission that offered free consultations with pediatricians, check up, x-ray and ECG (electrocardiogram).
The congressman said the medical mission was conducted from 7:00 a.m. to 12: 00 noon.
Olivarez said Mayor Eric Olivarez and son Councilor Pablo “Pao” Olivarez II joined in the medical mission.
He said Ospital ng Parañaque I (OsPar I) Hospital Director Dr. Jefferson Pagsisihan, Hospital Administrator Dr. Darius Sebastian and Chief Nurse Meda Calderon were also present to provide consultation and checkups on the children.
Olivarez said the children were given balloons and school supplies, as well as vitamins.
