14,114 Parañaque elementary students receive allowances from local gov't

The Parañaque city government distributed the monthly allowance of 14,114 elementary students covering the period of September to December, 2022. The second batch of allowance distribution to elementary students from District II was held at five elementary schools on Thursday, April 20. Olivarez said a total of 4,995 students without ATM cards received their P2,000 allowance from the city government. Around 1,448 of the beneficiaries were from Parañaque Elementary School Unit II, 1,163 from Sto. Niño Elementary School, 998 from Baclaran Elementary School Central, 801 from Baclaran Elementary School Unit I, and 585 from Baclaran Elementary School Unit II. Meanwhile, the distribution of allowances for elementary students from District I will be held on April 26 to 27. Olivarez said the local government has already finished the distribution of allowances for junior and senior high school students. Students from grades 10 to 12 with Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) ATMs received their allowances on April 14. The city government also deposited the allowances of students from elementary to Grade 9 with Union Bank ATMs on April 17. A total of 110,000 pupils studying in public schools in Parañaque receive P2,000 allowance every third quarter of the year.
