The beach volleyball team, meanwhile, is composed of Sisi Rondina, Jovelyn Gonzaga, Bernadeth Pons, Floremel Rodriguez, Ranran Abdilla, Jaron Requinton, Jude Garcia and James Buytrago. The indoor volleyball teams hope to make a crack at the podium after finishing fourth in the five-team field in the women’s division and fifth in a field of seven in the men’s side in the 31stedition held in Vietnam last year. The beach volleyball squads, for their part, aim to maintain or eclipse their bronze medal finishes the last time. Volleyball competitions in Cambodia begin two days ahead of the opening ceremony on May 3 at the Morodok Techo Elephant Hall while beach volleyball starts on May 11 at Otres Beach in Preah Sihanouk (Sihanoukville) Province with the finals of both on May 16.
