Lani Mercado-Revilla to celebrate 55th birthday in April with blowout for Bacooreños

Cavite Second District Representative Lani Mercado-Revilla recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of her Imus Cathedral wedding to Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr. This April, the Congresswoman fondly called Ate Lani in the City of Bacoor, will be marking another milestone as she celebrates her 55th birthday. Instead of receiving gifts from Bacooreños, Cong. Lani has prepared a lineup of activities as part of her birthday offerings for her constituents.   The launch of Alagang Ate Lani Birthday Selfie instantly gained traction on Facebook. Followers are encouraged to post their selfies with Cong. Lani, and use the hashtag #HappyBirthdayAteLani. The contest has different categories such as Best Smile Selfie and Best Wacky Selfie. Cash prizes await the lucky winners! As part of the Alagang Ate Lani Birthday Blowout, chosen Bacooreños are also set to receive 55 hair makeover packages, 55 free denture packages, 55 free wheelchair packages, and 55 free eyeglass packages. As a bonus, there will be 55 winners who will receive P2,000 in cash! Also to be held are the blessing ceremonies of several facilities in the City of Bacoor, such as barangay multipurpose halls and covered courts, as well as new facilities at the R.E.V.I.L.L.A. Center. Medical missions will bring medical and dental services to areas where these are most needed.

For Bacooreños, the payout of financial assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development, and Department of Labor and Employment will be held. The much-awaited Passport on Wheels will bring the services of the Department of Foreign Affairs to those who would like to apply for or renew their passports. On April 14, there will be a grand birthday concert for Cong. Lani, which will be top billed by one of today’s most sought-after Pinoy pop bands, December Avenue. December Avenue is known for its original love songs such as Kung ‘Di Rin Lang Ikaw and Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-Ibig. Comedian Ate Gay will also join in the celebration as well as SunKissed Lola, the indie band behind the hit song Pasilyo. The concert is expected to draw crowds of Bacooreños who will sing along to their favorite tunes to celebrate the birthday of their dear Ate Lani. “Ito pong aking kaarawan ay isang pagkakataon para maipakita ko sa ating mga mahal na Bacooreño na ang araw-araw na trabaho po natin ay iniaalay natin sa kanila. Sana po ay patuloy tayong ipagdasal ng ating mga kababayan para sama-sama, tulong tulong nating madala ang Lungsod ng Bacoor sa pag-unlad at tagumpay,” said Cong. Lani.
