Manulife Asia has set a new world record!

Early this year, more than 500 colleagues across 12 of Manulife’s offices in Asia, including 100 in the Philippines, came together to build trophies out of interlocking building bricks, with awards for the fastest finishers in each market.

The event, which symbolizes Manulife’s ambition and growth, was confirmed by Guinness World Recordsto represent a new record for the “most people building interlocking brick sculptures online and in a single venue simultaneously.”

“The Guinness World Records attempt was a fun and exciting way for our colleagues to engage with our ambition to be the leading Pan Asian life insurer,” said Rahul Hora, Manulife Philippines president and CEO.

“We were delighted to see so many colleagues come together for this record-breaking activity and we hope this will help to supercharge our teams towards another big year in 2023,” Congratulations to Manulife Philippines’ Jonathan Feleo, Ron Del Rosario of Manulife IT Delivery Center Asia (MITDC), and David Andrew Beltran of Manulife Business Processing Services (MBPS) for being the fastest to complete the sculpture in the Philippines.
