2 arrested, P1.7 M shabu seized in Pasay City

Two men were arrested during the buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit - National Capital Region Police Office (RDEU-NCRPO), Southern Police District-District Drug Enforcement Unit (SPD-DDEU) and the Pasay Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit on Saturday, April 1. The SPD said the suspects, identified as Ralph Sy, 21, and Philip John Napolis, 25 were arrested at around 3:40 p.m. along Cessna Street in Barangay 190, Zone 30, Pasay City. The police said RDEU and SPD-DDEU members, in coordination with the Pasay police, conducted anti-illegal drug operations leading to the arrest of the suspects who were known for their alleged illegal activities. Confiscated from the suspects were several plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 250 grams. It has a market price of up to P1.7 million. The police also recovered a P1,000 bill and the P249,000 used as buy-bust money that were placed inside a pink paper bag. The arrested suspects are currently in the custody of the RDEU-NCRPO.
