To all the Star Wars geeks out there: Rowena Guanzon is one of you. The P3PWD Party-list nominee proudly shared on Twitter last Monday, April 17 her "life-sized baby Yoda", which looked quite the collectible item. "Mga pulangaw (Hey pulangaws),here is my 'sad' life size (sic) baby Yoda . Wala kayo nyan (You don't have that). Baby Yoda will travel the world with me," she tweeted. The outspoken Guanzon then assured followers and bashers alike that her supposed travels with Baby Yoda--which fans of the Star Wars franchise officially refer to as Grogu--weren't funded through underhanded means. "Hindi galing sa nakaw at hindi charged sa government ang travel namin (The funds for our travels weren't stolen money, and the government weren't charged for them)," she said. Grogu is a character from the Star Wars Disney+ original television series The Mandalorian. "He is a toddler member of the same species as the Star Wars characters Yoda and Yaddle, with whom he shares a strong ability in the Force," read the character's Wikipedia profile. Guanzon, a lawyer, is a former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner.
