Parañaque LGU distributes assistance to Tulong Pangkabuhayan beneficiaries
The Parañaque City government distributed assistance to Tulong Pangkabuhayan beneficiaries on Tuesday, April 18.

According to Mayor Eric Olivarez the distribution of assistance of P10,000 each to 80 beneficiaries was held at the Gallery Hall in Legislative Building, Parañaque City Hall.
Olivarez said the beneficiaries were all women who finished their training at the Parañaque Livelihood Resource Management Office under Marlette Yamsuan.
He said the beneficiaries were given P10,000 checks as a loan from the city government to serve as starting or additional capital for their businesses.
The mayor said the the P10,000 loan from the city government can be returned within one year without interest.
Olivarez added that the beneficiaries will be given a chance to again borrow from the city government of up to P15,000.
He said the  Tulong Pangkabuhayan is another priority project of the city government to improve the standard of living of city residents.
The mayor said the Tulong Pangkabuhay is a project of the Parañaque Cooperative Development Office (PCDO), Parañaque Livelihood Resource Management Office, and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO).
