Martin Nievera is back on center stage to thrill fans once again with his distinct voice. As one of the Philippines’ most successful balladeers, Martin uses his powerful baritone and expressive interpretation skill to tell stories of life and love in songs that have enchanted music lovers for decades.

Martin takes the stage to showcase his unparalleled talent and stunning vocals as he revisits the songs that have made him a household name. OPM classics, Broadway hits that hold a special place in his heart, and inspirational songs that stir the soul in “Martin Nievera: The Journey Continues.” The concert happens on May 11, 2023, 8 p.m. at the Samsung Hall of SM Aura Premier, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

This concert isn't just about entertaining audiences. It’s also for a good cause. As a follow-up of his first “Journeys” concert in 2016, Martin – EPCALM’s appointed Goodwill Ambassador – is again lending his time and talent to support the serviced patients of the EPCALM Adult Leukemia Foundation of the Philippines, Inc. EPCALM is the only non-profit organization in the country, which provides programs and services to adult leukemia patients and their families.

As Martin himself says, “...EPCALM is an organization composed of men and women who have made it their advocacy to help those suffering the debilitating effects of leukemia. I have always believed in sharing whatever blessing God has given me to help others lead a better and happier life, and doing a concert for the patients under the programs of EPCALM is one of the things I can do to support them. Music has the power to heal, and this concert will show that it also has the power to call people to action and help others.”

Dr. Erlyn Cabanag-Demerre, EPCALM Founder and Board Chair, has made it her personal advocacy since her brother, lawyer Erwin Piedad Cabanag, who was then City Fiscal of Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, succumbed to leukemia on May 12, 2005.

“The message of EPCALM is really not unique. It’s simply putting into action what we have been taught, and what we have learned ever since we could grasp and understand that there is a God of the universe who cares for all of us,” says Dr. Demerre. She adds, “We need to share the blessings that God has given us to others — our time, talents, and financial resources; to share unconditionally and without motives except to help save a life and make a difference, no matter how small. These would help add to the quality of life of each leukemia patient as they journey through the disease – extending a hand of friendship, assisting them, and enabling them to find hope, even in the seemingly hopeless circumstances.”
