The new face of Coco Mademoiselle
Canadian star Whitney Peak echoes the temperament of the young Coco Chanel
Chanel has announced that Whitney Peak is the new face of the Coco Mademoiselle fragrance.
Of Ugandan origin, born in 2003 in Kampala, Whitney Peak is a 20-year-old Canadian actress at the dawn of her career. She began her career in small role in Aaron Sorkin’s film Molly’s Game, and later played a starring role in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix and in Home Before Dark on Apple TV. She recently landed one of the lead roles in the reboot of the Gossip Girl series, and also starred as the lead in Hocus Pocus 2 by Anne Fletcher. This year, she is slated to work on three more movies, all of which remain confidential.
The relationship Whitney Peak has developed with Chanel keeps evolving over time. She started as brand ambassador for the US market, then she was the muse of the 22 handbag campaign, and now she is the new face of the Coco Mademoiselle fragrance. Whitney Peak’s joy, spirit, and energy are contagious. She is the embodiment of today’s youth whose curiosity, confidence in life, appetite for experiences, and lack of preconceptions echo the temperament of the young Coco Chanel.
An incarnation of Coco Mademoiselle’s original personality, she is a young woman who moves toward her destiny to become who she truly is and wants to be. The campaign in which Whitney Peak stars has been launched since March.
