1,210 out of 2,558 pass April 2023 Midwifery Licensure exam


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, April 19, announced that 1,210 out of 2,558 passed the April 2023 Licensure Examination for Midwives.

It was given by the Board of Midwifery in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Ronnie Vincent Bolasco Antivo from Jose Rizal Memorial State University-Dapitan was hailed as the exam's top notcher with a 90.05 percent rating.

Meanwhile, PRC declared Bataan Peninsula State University-Main Campus as the top-performing school with a 97.22 percent passing rate.

"From May 15 to May 19, 2023, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line.  Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.  Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope.  Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals," PRC said.

The date and venue of the oathtaking are yet to be advised.
