Physical therapist shot dead in Laguna

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – A physical therapist was gunned down by a security guard at Calamba Park Residence in Calamba City, this province, on Monday night, April 17. Police identified the fatality as Arcadio Lamire. Lamire and friend Ramon Molinyawe Jr. were having coffee when the suspect, Romeo Dulot, appeared and shot the victim for no apparent. Victim sustained multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot. Dulot fled and is now the subject of a police manhunt. Meanwhile, a vendor and a tricycle driver were wounded in separate shooting incidents in this province and Quezon on Monday. Police identified the victims as Enrique Ustaris, a tricycle driver, and Wilma Nacman Urlanda, 41, vendor. Ustaris was sitting in his tricycle in Barangay Lacheria in Calamba City when the suspect Rene Nepomuceno and unidentified companion arrived and shot him several times. The suspects who are now subjects of a police manhunt fled and Ustaris was taken to a hospital. Urlanda was walking on his way to work in Lucena City when she was shot several times by an unidentified suspect. She sustained bullet wounds and is now in stable condition in a hospital.
