The Pasay City government, in celebration of National Immunization Week, launched the search for the “ROT (right on time) Turok Child”on Monday, April 17.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubioano said city residents whose children are 23 months old and below and have completed their immunization may join the search for the “ROTurok Child” program being offered by the city government and the City Health Office (CHO).
Rubiano said winners in the program may bring home P3,000 for the first prize, P2,000 for the second, and P1,000 for the third prize.
She said parents whose children have completed their immunization may visit their nearest health centers and bring their “baby books” and immunization record.
Rubiano said the child may classify as FIC (fully immunized child) or ROTturok Child if he or she received the first dose of BCG (bacilli calmette-guerin) a vaccine for tuberculosis (TB) disease; three doses of OPV (oral polio vaccine), three doses of pentahib or the 5-in-1 vaccine that will give protection to the child from diphtheria, pertusis, tetatus, hepatits B and haemophiluz influenza, and two doses of MCV (meningococcal vaccine) during the child’s first 12 months.
She said the winners will be announced during the FIC grand party on April 28.
