Partly cloudy weather, isolated rain showers to persist due to easterlies
Most of the country will continue to experience hot and humid weather in the next 24 hours due to the easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Tuesday, April 18.
The easterlies or the warm air coming from the Pacific Ocean will bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather but isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may still occur due to localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA advised the public to remain vigilant as there can be flooding or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Sudden heavy rains, lightning, thunder, gusts of wind, and sometimes hail, often accompany severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, no gale warning is currently raised over any of the country’s seaboards, as the coastal waters will be light to moderate throughout the archipelago in the next 24 hours.
PAGASA said small boats and other sea vessels are safe to sail.
