Ex-construction worker yields P244,000 shabu in Bacolod buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY â€“ A suspected drug pusher was arrested while 36 grams of shabu worth P244,800 were seized in a buy-bust operation in Purok Ylac, Barangay 1 here on Friday, April 14.

Police Capt. Joven Mogato, head of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), said that the suspect, Garry Estonilo, 30, of Barangay 1, was subjected to a one-week monitoring following the apprehension of drug suspects in the barangay who were linked to him. Mogato said the suspect is considered a street-level individual due to the volume of drugs recovered which was less than 50 grams. Police also confiscated the P1,000 marked money and P150 from him. Suspect is detained at Police Station 2.
