Azurin inaugurates P83-M state-of-the-art police station in Kalinga


TABUK CITY, Kalinga – Philippine National Police chief Police Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. inaugurated the first prototype building of the Tabuk City Police Station in Barangay Laya West, Tabuk City, Kalinga, on Tuesday morning, April 18.

The state-of-the-art four-story police station which is considered to be world-class cost P83 million.

The budget came from the Public Safety Savings and Loans Association Inc. (PSSLAI) while the 2,000-square meter lot where it stands was donated by the city government.

Azurin led the signing of the Deed of Donation with Acceptance between the Philippine National Police and PSSLAI and the turnover of the complete sets of plan and the symbolic key after the inauguration and the blessing.

The occasion was witnessed by PSSLAI Chairman Atty. Lucas Managuelod, Congressman Allen Jessie Mangaoang, Gov. James Edduba, Mayor Darwin Estrañero, PRO-Cordillera Director Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr., and officials of the City of Tabuk and Kalinga.
