12 Ifugao cops awarded for notable accomplishments

LAGAWE, Ifugao – Twelve police officers of the Ifugao Police Provincial Office were awarded with PNP medals during the command visit of Police Brig Gen. David Peredo Jr., regional director of Police Regional Office-Cordillera, at Camp Col. Joaquin P. Dunuan in Poblacion North, Lagawe, Ifugao on Monday, April 17. Peredo was assisted by Ifugao provincial police director Police Col. Davy Limmong during the presentation of awards to deserving police officers. Medalya ng Kagalingan (Medal of Merit) was given to Police Capt. Jackson Nginhena and Police Staff Sgt. Gilbert Dulnuan of the Lagawe Municipal Police Station for the successful arrest of Ifugao’s No. 4 most wanted person on the provincial level for the first quarter of CY 2023. The same award was given to Police Senior Master Sgt. Levy Aliba and Police Master Sgt. Joseph Guinichon of Alfonso Lista MPS for the successful arrest of Ifugao’s No. 5 most wanted person (provincial level) for the second quarter of CY 2023. Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) was awarded to Police Staff Sgt. Robal Bandao and Police Corporal Maria Villa Najchuman of Aguinaldo MPS for the successful promulgation of judgment against an individual who was arrested for violation of Sections 5 of RA 9262 (Anti-Violence against Women and their Children). The same award was given to Police Senior Master Sgt. Eleanor Gunan and Police Corporal Paul Mar Magastino of Banaue MPS for the successful promulgation of judgment against an individual who was arrested for the crime of statutory rape. Also given Kasanayan award were Police Senior Master Sgt. Rolly Daulayan, Police Senior Master Sgt. Aldrin L. Gacayan, Police Corporal Enden Dinamling, and Police Corporal Ariston Dulnuan of Asipulo MPS the successful execution of Deed of Usufruct with the local government unit of Asipulo, Ifugao covering an area of 212-square meters for the construction of Asipulo MPS Compac building located in Barangay Antipolo, Asipulo, Ifugao.
