Suzette Doctolero denies taking a swipe at Barbie Forteza
"Hala! Wala kinalaman sa artista ang musings ko sa twitter. Kaloka. Dapat pala pag mag post ako, may disclaimer na not showbiz related?"
This is what screenwriter-TV director Suzette Doctolero wrote on Facebook recently as she shared a link with the title: "Tweet Scoop: Netizens Speculate if Suzette Doctolero Was Referring to Barbie Forteza in Post on Making Decisions."
The said cryptic post read: "Kapag talaga ang ugat ay bad decisions, sunod-sunod na palpak, o unpleasant results and/or disastrous consequences ang kalalabasan. If our decision is wrong, madalas rin pagsisihan natin sa maraming dahilan."
"People make bad or poor decisions out of greed, blind or misguided ambition and selfishness kaya daming bad repurcussions. But better decisions (based on values, intuition, good heart) leads to better results," Suzette added.
Many online users believe that Suzette was referring to Barbie, who headlined her just concluded show, "Maria Clara At Ibarra." The said project paved the way for a new love team, FiLay, composed of David Licauco and Barbie's Fidel and Klay, respectively. Suzette reiterated her tweet does not pertain to any celebrity. "Luh, walang kinalaman sa kahit sinong artista ang bad decisions eme post ko," was how she put it. She reminded followers: "Wag kasing paniwalaan ang tsismis ng mga tsismoso na minsan o madalas ay kuryente ang mga eme. Ayan, akala nyo tuloy sa artista yun." In another post, Suzette re-tweeted a quote that read: “Wrong is wrong, even if everyone is doing it. Right is right, even if no one is doing it.” She wrote: "True. (Not showbiz related musings eme)."People make bad or poor decisions out of greed, blind or misguided ambition and selfishness kaya daming bad repurcussions. But better decisions (based on values, intuition, good heart) leads to better results.
