Pampanga provincial legal officer hurt in gun attack

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Pampanga Provincial Legal Officer and former Sangguniang Panlalawigan member Gerome Tubig was shot and wounded in front of a hospital in Barangay Santo Rosario, this city, on Monday morning, April 17. Police said Tubig had just arrived at the parking lot in front of the hospital on board his car when two unidentified men wearing helmets, pants, and black striped jacket fired at him. Suspects fled toward Barangay Dolores here while Tubig was taken to a hospital. Police recovered four spent shells for a caliber .45 pistol at the crime scene. Police Regional Office-3 Director Police Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. has ordered a thorough investigation on the incident. Hidalgo directed Pampanga police chief Police Col. Levi Hope Basilio to exert all efforts to identify and apprehend the su    spects.
