About 10,000 people came to watch the stars at the fan meeting, according to a news report by Korean TV channel SBS, which airs “Running Man” in South Korea.

The “Running Man” fan meeting was originally scheduled to be held in February 2020 but it was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"So we're having a fan meeting that's been put off for years. It's been three years. We were going to have a fan meeting in the Philippines three years ago. But due to the outbreak of Covid-19, it's been temporarily put off.  And we're finally going today,” said Yoo Jae-suk as they gathered at Incheon International Airport for their flight to Manila.

They arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) at about 1 a.m. and despite the time, Filipino fans waited for them, armed with banners to welcome the cast.

The “Running Man” stars practiced for days for their song and dance numbers that they performed at the fan meeting.

"We don't know how to thank you. We want to thank people who welcomed us with sincerity once again,” Yoo Jae-suk told the crowd at the event.

At the end of the show, he quipped, “I feel like I am dreaming.”

In the dressing room after the show, Jeon So-min said, “That was fun.”

The stars were surprised not only by the turnout but the cheers of the audience.

"None of us knew things like this would happen to us,” said  Yoo Jae-suk.

A teaser of the next episode of “Running Man” showed the stars visiting the home of boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, who became a guest on the show last October when he went to South Korea.

The “Running Man: A Decade of Laughter” fan meeting was presented by Pulp Live World.
