Detained hired gun served warrant in Quezon


TIAONG, Quezon – An alleged hired killer was served a warrant of arrest while detained at the custodial facility of the Tiaong Municipal Police Station on Sunday, April 16.

The suspect, Dario Maralit, 40, is a suspected member of the Elmer Arrogancia gun-for-hire and drug syndicate operating in the provinces of Laguna, Batangas, and Quezon.

Intelligence and warrant operatives led by Police Capt. Ramil Malipol served the warrant of arrest against Maralit.

The warrant was issued by Judge Portia Arceo Martinez-Panergo, presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 60 in Lucena City for a drug-related case.

The court recommended an P80,000 bail for Maralit. He will be presented to the court in the following  days.
