Cordillera police net 18 wanted persons

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Police arrested 18 wanted persons in the Cordillera from April 9 to 15. The Police Regional Office-Cordillera said the Benguet Police Provincial Office arrested eight, followed by the Baguio City Police Office with six, Abra PPO with two, and Ifugao PPO and Mountain Province PPO, one each. One of those arrested was a most wanted person (MWP) on the city level. As a result of the intensified police visibility and campaign against criminality, 57 municipalities in the region and two police stations in Baguio City recorded zero crime incidents during the week. No crimes were recorded in the 24 municipalities of Abra, five in Apayao, eight in Benguet, four in Kalinga, 10 in Mountain Province, and six in Ifugao. Out of the 10 police stations in Baguio, the BCPO Station 1 (Naguilian) and Station 6 (Aurora Hill) had no crime incidents.
