BLACKPINK member Rosé's agency finally denies dating rumors with Gang Dong-won

The agency of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK’s Rosé, 26, finally denied the dating rumors between her and actor Gang Dong-won, 42, after issuing a vague statement.  Rosé has been embroiled in two rumors in the past few days that stemmed from a single photo that was uploaded on Instagram by Italian fashion designer Riccardo Tisci.  BLACKPINK’s Rosé and actor Gang Dong-won (Instagram, CJ ENM)

The now-deleted photo showed Tisci with Rosé, Gang Dong-won and other people at a party in a house.  Some netizens took note of items in a black and white ashtray on a table and started rumors of illegal drugs.  “It is revealed that the rumors related to BLACKPINK Rosé that are spreading in some online communities and social media are clearly false,” YG Entertainment earlier said.  Now, netizens have claimed that Rosé and Gang Dong-won are dating because of the photo.  The dating rumors between the two grew after YG Entertainment made a vague statement about it.  "It is impossible to confirm because it is the artist's private life," the agency earlier said that fueled more rumors as the statement did not confirm nor deny it.  YG Entertainment issued another statement to flatly deny the dating rumors.  “Earlier, we said that it was impossible to confirm due to the artist's private life regarding Rosé, but as reckless speculation continues, we will inform you once again,” it said.  It added, “We reveal that the dating rumors of Rosé reported today are not true. We would appreciate it if you could help prevent the spread of false information.” Gang Dong-won was an actor at YG Entertainment until his contract ended last December and he chose to leave the agency.
