CAMP GEN. PACIANO RIZAL, Laguna – Police arrested 31 suspected drug personalities, including five high-value individuals (HVI), and confiscated a total of P1.5-million worth of illegal drugs in a two-day operation in this province.
Laguna police director Police Col. Randy Glenn Silvio, in his report to Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartates, Police Regional Office 4-A chief, said suspects were arrested in 22 operations and yielded 267.97 grams of shabu and eight grams of dried marijuana with an estimated value of P1,547,656.00.
Silvio said five were listed as high-value individuals and 25 are street-level individuals.
“The campaign of the Laguna PNP against illegal drugs has been implemented with the help and support of the community, particularly the Barangay Intelligence Network (BIN) in different barangays in the province of Laguna,” Silvio said.
The operations were conducted on April 14 and April 15 and suspects are in the custody of arresting units.
