PH to experience partly cloudy skies, isolated rain showers

The entire archipelago may experience fair weather due to partly cloudy to cloudy conditions in the next 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Sunday, April 16. PAGASA said the easterlies or the warm air coming from the Pacific Ocean will be the dominant weather system in the country. Although fair weather is expected in most parts of the country, there is still a possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms. PAGASA advised the public to remain vigilant as there can be flooding or landslides during severe thunderstorms. Sudden heavy rains, lightning, thunder, gusts of wind, and sometimes hail, often accompany severe thunderstorms.
