P6.9-M humanitarian aid delivered to tropical depression Amang-hit areas — DSWD
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), local government units (LGUs), and DSWD partners have provided at least P6.9 million worth of food and non-food items as resource augmentation to areas affected by tropical depression Amang.
Based on the report of the DSWD-Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center, as of April 15, P6.9 million worth of assistance was already distributed to the cyclone-affected areas in Mimaropa (Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan), Bicol Region, and Davao Region.

DSWD said there are 119 displaced families or 435 persons staying in 18 evacuation centers. Meanwhile, 48 families, or 163 individuals, are staying outside the evacuation centers and seeking temporary shelter with their friends or relatives. DSWD said it has at least P1.391-billion worth of available resources, of which P107 million are standby or quick response funds and P1.283-billion worth of food and non-food items.
