P295,000 'shabu' seized; 10 suspects arrested in Bulacan
Over P295,000 worth of “shabu“ was seized by Bulacan police from seven arrested drug suspects, while three wanted for various crimes were apprehended during intensified anti-crime operations in the province on Saturday, April 15.
Based on the reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the several drug sting operations conducted by the police led to the arrest of seven drug suspects and the confiscation of illegal drugs with a total amount of P295,520.

Col. Arnedo said the first operation was conducted by the City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) police in Brgy. Graceville, which resulted in the arrest of Sherwin Dela Cruz, 41. Confiscated from him were suspected shabu weighing approximately 40 grams amounting to P272,000, and the buy-bust money. The anti-drug operatives of San Rafael town have arrested two drug suspects identified as Rodrigo Dionisio alias "Daryl", 54, and Napoleon Ligamzon alias "Jay-jay", 48, in Brgy. Ulingao, wherein six sachets of suspected shabu worth P3,400 and marked money were confiscated. Police said alias "Jayjay" was also found to be in possession of a cal.38 revolver with four live rounds. The Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Sta. Maria, Bocaue and Hagonoy police also arrested Marjay Espiritu, Reynaldo Gimeno, Edilberto Tuazon, and Rico Coronel after a drug trade. A total of P23,120 worth of suspected shabu and marked money were seized from the suspects. Furthermore, the tracker teams of Sta. Maria police, 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) apprehended three felons wanted for various crimes during the implementation of a warrant of arrest. The Bulacan police director said the successful police operations they conducted under the guidance of Philippine National Police Region 3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. demonstrates their unwavering commitment to their campaign against illegal drugs, combat criminality, and maintenance of public safety in the province.
