Acquiro generating 15k jobs in medium term

Acquiro Solutions and Tech, Inc., a subsidiary of the Asticom Group of Companies, supported over 1,300 Filipinos in tech and non-tech jobs since its launch in January,2023 and is expanding its operations to generate employment for 15,000 more in the next 3-5 years. Acquiro is a spin-off from Asticom's staffing solutions business and caters to diverse industries, such as telco, fintech, health, education, digital banking, and Information Technology (IT). The company planscto cover the entire archipelago, bringing job opportunities to more people via flexible work arrangements, including part-time, hybrid, and gig work through its talent platform NXT. "We create purposeful futures for our fellow Filipinos," said Acquiro Deputy General Manager Ged Gutierrez. "Our expansion efforts reflect our dedication to helping both talents and businesses adapt to the ever-changing modern workplace." Overall, "We foster the economic recovery of the Philippines by supporting businesses, including Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) as well as startups," according to Asticom Group of Companies President and CEO Mharicar Castillo-Reyes, . The Asticom Group is a local shared services firm under the Globe Group of companies, providing staffing solutions, general services, and IT services.
