2 drug peddlers fall in Laguna buy-bust

CALAMBA City, Laguna – Police arrested two drug pushers and seized suspected shabu worth P360,000 in a buy-bust operation here on Friday, April 14. Laguna police director Police Col. Randy Glenn Silvio said suspects “Dominique” and “Raquel” are residents of this city and considered high-value individuals (HVI). Calamba police chief Police Lt. Col. Milany Martinez said the suspects were apprehended by the city police drug enforcement unit at 1:36 p.m. in Sitio Magalang, Barangay Real. Suspects yielded four plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 53 grams with an estimated street value of P360,400 and marked money. They are now in the custody of the Calamba police and face drug-related complaints. Silvio said police won’t waver in the campaign against illegal drugs.
