Nature calls this summer

Here are some activities you can consider for your children.

Welcome back from your Holy Week vacation, dear readers. Aside from overbooked and
delayed flights, boats, and buses and traffic jams on highways, we managed to enjoy a brief
reunion with family. There were horrors at terminals, airports, and sea ports, but all is well.
At the favorite reports and the favorite beach getaways, there were no untoward incidents
reported. And hardly any complaints of environmental damage. Hurray to the LGU units and resort owners for cleaning up!

We spent Easter Sunday hopping from Manila Diamond Hotel then to Sofitel for the “eggs
hunts” for our five-year old grandson, Disney, and his best friend MJ. Thank you, Melanie Samonte of Diamond, for letting our boys participate in your fun and personalized games and treats.

Afterward, we drove to Sofitel for a gigantic Easter party. Held at the big tent behind the hotel, it was a blockbuster with hundreds of kids, parents yayas, etc. in it. There were inflatable giants slides for tots and older kids and wow, did they jump at the indoor games! Thanks, Cynthia Esteban, for having us over.

Summer is just starting and there are more fun things to do with friends and family. From Robert Yupangco’s group of companies, here is a “come on” for young and old alike! Have you caught yourself planning a unique staycation or a quick out of town adventure with your family, friends, and other loved ones? These and more are some things Zoomanity Group’s Zooper Zummer has to offer. Get your summer plans ready.

North from Manila is where the wild adventure happens. Bring out your animal instincts at
Zoobic Safari, the only tiger safari in the Philippines, located in Subic. It surely offers an
amazing experience for everyone. Hang on for a new wave of safari adventure in this exotic
sanctuary. The fiery nights of the jungle are back, as Zoobic Night Safari once again is available every Saturday until May 27, 2023.

For those who would like to spend more days enjoying nature and fresh forest breeze, Zoobic Safari now offers GlampZ or Glamping at Zoomanity. You can enjoy experiencing a glamorous night in the wild as you stay in an animal themed room. It’s a way to enjoy the great outdoors without sacrificing an ounce of comfort. To make it more exciting, guests can take a dip in a glamping swimming pool or kawa bath.

Relax while looking at the beautiful sky with Cloud 9 Glamping, with packages complete with breakfast and Safari Tour. Or feel like the king of the jungle while staying up above with the Tree House, and enjoy a hawk-eye view of the forest. Your vacation is not complete without having a taste of  Samgyup sa Gubat, savoring Korean food in the middle of the forest.

Zoocobia in Clark Pampanga offers you a different fun-filled experience, which has more than a fun zoo. It is also set to be the only Bird Park in the country. Have a walking tour of Zoocobia’s newest attractions at the Macaw Corner, Parrot Lane, New Philippines Pride, New MAZE, Opalines Lane Aviary, Bunny World, and Sina Una with Aeta and New Barn.

Be amazed with the Funtastic Wing Show, witness the spectacular performance of different birds every weekend. Funtastic nights are also back with a Night Owl Show every Saturday, from 5 p.m. onward.

Other attractions include the Zoocology Museum, Giant Slide, and the Zooc Ride, the first and only gravity car ride in the country that's safe for all ages. Beside Zoocobia, there is Clarkzilla, the newest extreme adventure destination in Pampanga that offers a “Dubai Feel” experience.

Challenge yourself and zooper up your 4x4 experience by crossing rivers, lahar, and Mt. Pinatubo. Experience other exciting activities like Zip Line, ATV Ride, and Camel Ride.
