UP Law graduates sweep top 5 spots in 2022 Bar exams

Graduates from the University of the Philippines College of Law made it to the top five spots of the 2022 Bar Examinations.

Landing in first place is Czar Matthew Gerard Torres Dayday with 88.8083 percent rating, followed by Erickson Cayabyab Mariñas with 88.7666 percent, Christiane Claire Cregencia with 87.9667 percent, Andrea Jasmine Ong Yu with 87.7750 percent, and Kim Gia Grande Gatapia with 87.4250 percent, the Supreme Court of the Philippines advised on Friday, April 13.

As per the announcement, 3,992 out of 9,183 examinees successfully passed the exam, garnering a 43.47 percent passing rate.

San Beda University earned a 97.58 percent overall score and was hailed as the top-performing school among universities and colleges with more than 100 examinees.

Meanwhile, Ateneo de Davao has also been declared the top-performing school among those with 51 to 100 takers after garnering a 96.55 percent score.
