Classes resume in Rizal province

Classes in all levels in both public and private schools in the entire province resumed on Friday, April 14. The announcement was made by Rizal Governor Nina Ynares in her official Facebook page. Several local government units in Rizal, except for Antipolo City, suspended classes from kindergarten to Senior High School and Alternative Learning System on April 12 and 13 due to inclement weather brought about by Tropical Depression Amang. Tropical cyclone wind signal No. 1 was hoisted over Catanduanes, Sorsogon, Albay, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Laguna, Aurora, Quezon including Polillo Islands, Rizal, Bulacan, and Nueva Ecija. Amang is expected to bring heavy rains in Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and the southern part of Aurora until Saturday, April 15.
