Bianca Pagdanganan and Dottie Ardina stumbled in their campaign at the Lotte Championship Thursday, April 13 (Friday in Manila) after missing the cut at the Hoakalei Country Club in Oahu, Hawaii.
The Tokyo Olympian Pagdanganan carded a one-over-par 73 to finish with a two-round total of 147, while Ardina shot a one-under 71 but still fell short after finishing with a two-round aggregate of 150. They posted 74 and 79 in the opening round, respectively. Pagdanganan missed the cut by only one stroke and trailed Yu Jin Sung and Natthakritta Vongtaveelap by 11 shots. The two co-leaders fired 68 and 70, respectively, in the second round for identical 136 total. Ardina, meanwhile, missed the cut by four strokes. Pagdanganan blew hot and cold after shooting three birdies against the same amount of bogeys in the first 11 holes before fumbling with a bogey 5 on the 17th. Ardina, for her part, regained her form by firing four birdies in the first five holes, before losing steam after limping home with three bogeys.
