A student who was reported missing early this week has been found and is safe, the school administration said.

St. Scholastica’s College Manila, in a statement issued on April 13, confirmed the incident of the missing student.
“We are happy to inform the community that the Scholastican who was reported missing last April 11 has been found and is now safe,” the statement read.
St. Scholastica’s College Manila also issued a clarification regarding the incident. “We would like to clarify some misinformation that has been circulating that the student was in danger while within the vicinity of the school; this was not the case,” the school said.
The student, the school explained, “left at her own accord.” St. Scholastica’s College Manila also assured the public that the “safety and well-being of our students are of utmost importance.”
The school added that it also takes any incident involving a student’s safety “very seriously” and assured that protocols are “in place to address such situations.”
