Filipino-developed transport app toktok named "Best Transport App of the Year 2022" at 4th VP Choice Awards

toktok, a Filipino-owned transport app, was recognized as the "Best Transport App of the Year 2022" at the 4th VP Choice Awards. This acknowledgment is a testament to the reliable mobile application that continuously provides convenient car and delivery services to its users. The award is also a significant milestone for the company, led by its President Jonathan So and Vice President Carlito Macadangdang, who continue to innovate and provide quality services to their customers. The 4th VP Choice Awards acknowledges the people's popular picks from the travel, lifestyle, entertainment, technology, and business industries. After a 30-day voting period, the panel of experts carried out their deliberation process last March 9. The nominees were carefully evaluated based on the criteria and the choices made by the people. With a total of 1,180 shares, toktok was recognized as the top choice by the people and the panel of experts, surpassing competitors such as Angkas, Grab, Joyride, OWTO, and Move It. Founded by young tycoons Jonathan So and Carlito Macadangdang, toktok has provided a business opportunity for Filipinos through its franchising program. It was created by Cloud Panda Ph, the company’s own IT Company Solution, composed of 100% Filipino developers, and launched in the market. Initially, the app was developed to help bridge the gap in logistic problems for their other businesses (Siomai King, Coppermask, Boy Bondat, and JC). The founders decided to advance it to cater to a larger market and eventually opened it nationwide. toktok's award affirms its commitment to providing excellent service and innovation in the transportation industry. The 4th VP Choice Awards was held last March 29, 2023, at Glass Garden, Pasig City.
