“We are the catch basin of the province, tayo po ang sumasalo ng tubig baha. At baha ang lagi nating problema sa ating Lungsod ng Bacoor at hindi lang yun, maraming sunog na ang ating naranasan noong panahon ng Covid (Flood is always a problem in the City of Bacoor, and aside from that, we had a lot of fire incidents during Covid),” Rep. Revilla, who was celebrating her birthday, said during the event.

“Ito ay alay natin sa mamayang Bacooreño (We dedicate this to the residents of Bacoor). We want to be prepared, we want to be resilient, we want to help the national government and the provincial government in times of crisis.” she added.

The building construction began during Rep. Revilla’s term as city mayor.

Aside from being the headquarters of the Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, the seven-story building will also house the official sessions of the city’s legislative body and other sub-offices of Vice Mayor Bautista Mendiola.
