VP-elect Duterte receives P216M during campaign, SOCE shows

Vice President-elect Sara Duterte has received more than P216 million contributions in the May 2022 polls.

This was based on her Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) which she submitted to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Tuesday, June 7.

The P216,190,935.06 contributions she received consisted of the in-kind donations from other sources totalling to P79,581,690.15 and the in-kind contributions from her political party, Lakas Christian Muslim Democrats, amounting to P136,609,244.91.

Her expenditures also totaled P216,190,935.06.

Under the law, all candidates and electoral parties, both winning and losing, are required to submit SOCE within 30 days after the elections which is June 8.
