Mayor Lani Cayetano accepted it during the ceremony attended by MMDA Chairperson Romando Artes.

““Sa ngalan po ng pamahalaang lungsod ng Taguig, malugod po naming tinatanggap ang eco park na ito na very consistent at tumutugon sa layunin ng City of Taguig to be a transformative, lively, and caring city (One behalf of the Taguig City government, we accept this eco park which is very consistent and addresses the goal of the City of Taguig to be a transformative, lively, and caring city),” said Cayetano.

She said open spaces are part of the city’s agenda and thanked the MMDA for choosing Taguig as a beneficiary of the project.

“Ang parke na ito ay hindi lang magiging lugar ng pag-eehersisyo ng pamilya - kundi lugar para ang pamilya ay makapagsaya at makapag-bonding para mas lalong maging matatag (This park will not only be a place for families to exercise but a place where families can enjoy and have bonding to make them stronger),” she said.

The Taguig Eco Park has a kids’ playground, benches, picnic grounds and restrooms.
