PDEA-Central Luzon arrests two drug pushers, seizes P1.7-M worth of marijuana in La Trinidad buy-bust

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Two drug peddlers involved in the bulk distribution of marijuana in Bulacan were arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Luzon on Wednesday, April 12, in a private parking lot in Barangay Balili here. Seized during the buy-bust operation were 15 kilos of cannabis sativa (marijuana) placed in 14 pieces of tape-wrapped tubes with an estimated value of P1.7 million. The operating teams identified the arrested suspects as Marion Tinapen Asislo, 35, and Amado Paycao, 40. Both are from Santol, La Union. The suspects are believed to be involved in the bulk distribution of marijuana in Bulacan and neighboring provinces in Central Luzon. The operation was jointly conducted by the operatives led by PDEA-Bulacan Provincial Office and PDEA-CAR.
